Cactus and Succulent

Cactus are easy to care for plants if they have the adequate light. They need 12-14 hours of direct light a day in order to grow, although slowly. They would do well with grow lights or in a south or west-facing window. They like to be dried out in between waterings and have very well-draining chunky soil. Water your cactus when wrinkly or flimsy, every 2-3 weeks during the growing season.

Succulents are easy to care for plants that thrive on neglect. They need 12-14 hours of direct light from a South window or a grow light and like to be dry. They do well in terracotta pots and to be watered once every 2-3 weeks. They like a chunky, well-draining soil. The leaves will wrinkle or be flimsy when they need water and should be firm when they have adequate water. They do well with average home humidity.

Succulents are safe for cats and dogs.
Cacti are safe for pets, but watch out for those spines!
